Web Design Award Marks 28 Wins for Bayshore Solutions in 2009

 

TAMPA, FL, December 2009 — Bayshore Solutions, a Tampa Web design company with offices in Tampa, Miami and Orlando wins the Best in Class Award in the 2009 Interactive Media Award competition in the Museum category for the Courage and Compassion Web site found online at http://www.CourageandCompassionExhibit.com.

 

The Best in Class award is the highest honor bestowed by the Interactive Media Council. Bayshore Solutions has excelled in all areas of the judging criteria and achieved a near perfect overall score.  According to the Interactive Awards, the Courage and Compassion Web site represents the highest standards of professionalism, standards compliance and impeccable planning and execution.

 

The judging consisted of various criteria, including design, usability, innovation in technical features, standards compliance and content. In order to win this award level, the Courage and Compassion site had to meet strict guidelines in each area - an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn each year.

The exhibit showcases the heroic efforts of three brothers, Tuvia, Zus and Asael Bielski who helped save more than 1,000 Jews during World War II and is the only exhibit exclusively focused on this inspiring story.

 

The Web site design includes Flash elements and a simple navigational structure to inform and enhance the visitor experience.
