Somewhere over the…well, I have no clue where we are, this plane does not come equipped with a screen in the seat in front of me. Well, off I am to the much-anticipated SMX West search marketing conference held at the Santa Clara, CA convention center. My first thoughts are When are they going to put wireless in the sky?? (I know, I read this summer) But just think of how much more productive I could have been if I had access to my email, VPN network, the internet, and Google Adwords/Analytics for the 6 hours I was in there air today?!?! Yes, I was still able to work on a PPC presentation for an AMA conference, a 2009 internet strategy for one of my clients, and board presentation for another client, but still! I guess I shouldn’t be complaining, it did give me time to catch up on some US Weekly’s I was behind on.  But I can’t tell you how much it was killing me to be away from my Facebook mobile app for all that time, after an event-filled weekend like this one was, at Tampa’s annual Gasparilla fest! And yes, I am a self-described Crackberry addict, and do not welcome the peace and quiet of a powered-off phone.  Ok, on to Vouge, more later…
