Internet Marketing and Yoga

Internet Marketing and Yoga
So I had some inspiration to write a blog post last night as I was practicing bikram yoga. If you’re not familiar with this form of yoga, it’s a specifically designed series of postures and breathing exercises performed in a room with a temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit. As a side note, this was my first “hot yoga” experience, and I just have to say that it was invigorating.
So while I am twisting and contorting my body in ways that shouldn’t really be possible, and definitely don’t feel normal, I started thinking about work.
Now I know that you’re not actually supposed to think while you’re practicing yoga, but I couldn’t help but to form an analogy with this form of yoga and what I practice daily at Bayshore Solutions. As you may already know, Bayshore Solutions is a premier full-service Internet marketing firm in Tampa, Florida. We specialize in web design, web hosting, eMarketing and other interactive media services. We have clients from all over the country who rely on us for the management and support of their interactive marketing campaigns and initiatives.
One part of what we do initially with our clients is analyze their current website to see how we can help them to improve it, that is if we are not contracted to create an entirely new site for them. In this case, we must break down their website and figure out what is useful and what needs to be improved upon. Now you may be wondering what this has to do with yoga… well here you go:
As I was “cleansing” my body of all the toxins by sweating profusely, I was thinking about how Bayshore Solutions uses our high-tech marketing expertise to optimize our clients’ websites. We use our SEO best practices to “cleanse” the site of any and all useless information, all the while recommending what it is they need to add to their site in order to get more visitors, more leads, and in turn, boost their customer database and/or sales. This may seem like a far-off analogy for you, but give me a break… I had to think about something else besides being on the verge of passing out.
The moral of the story is this: there isn’t one. I just wanted to share an interesting experience with you, and tell you just a little about what Bayshore Solutions does on a daily basis with our clients. We specialize in making sure that your company’s website is clear of all the useless “toxins” and is full of only the things that will help your company reach its goals, whatever they may be.
Namaste!

Acually, a very good analogy. Also, very easy to read writing style. Keep up the good work.
