Quality Distribution, Trucks & Parts, Morphogenesis, Perla Del Mar and CAMLS Websites Take Top Honors
TAMPA, FL, and DENVER, CO, December 2015 – Eight Bayshore Solutions website designs are announced as winners of the 2015 MarCom Awards. J.C. Newman Perla Del Mar Cigars and University of South Florida Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS) took Platinum honors for education institution websites. Gold MarCom Awards were won by Trucks & Parts in the Business to Business category, Quality Distribution Incorporated in the transportation category, and Morphogenesis in the medical category. Honorable Mention MarCom Awards were given to the David A, Straz Center for the Performing Arts and the Columbia Restaurant websites.
The MarCom international awards competition, administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals. There were over 6,500 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and 15 other countries in the 2015 competition. Entries are judged by select group of industry professionals who look for talent and work that exceeds a high standard of excellence and serves as a benchmark for the industry.

Bayshore Solutions’ 2015 MarCom Award Winning Websites:
J.C. Newman Perla del Mar Cigars won a Platinum 2015 MarCom Award for manufacturer websites. Brand enthusiasm, and a social interaction portal are featured through adventurous, upbeat imagery and functionality in this third website created for J.C. Newman Cigar company.
University of South Florida Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS) won a Platinum 2015 MarCom Award for educational institution websites. Bayshore Solutions designed this responsive and interactive website to show the advanced capabilities of the center and attract interest and support funding for the center.
The Morphogenesis biotechnical research website won a Gold MarCom Award in the medical websites category. The Morphogenesis website addresses a variety of audiences (scientists, students, government, investors, patients and consumers) with broad to complex/technical content in an elegant experience that presents the science, its applications and benefits.
The Quality Distribution Inc. (QDI) website won a Gold MarCom Award for transportation websites. QDI is the largest bulk tank truck network in North America with over 125 terminals, and more than 3,000 drivers and franchises. The QDI website presents the company history and in-depth information on QDI’s variety of business lines and services in a clean and pleasant experience for its multiple audiences.
The Trucks and Parts website won a Gold MarCom Award in the business to business websites category. Trucks and parts presents fleet and equipment sales of refuse trucks, cement mixers trailers and specific-use industrial vehicles and equipment in a clean and easy-to use interface. The website efficiently and aesthetically connects business buyers and sellers of truck equipment to the product, financing and service information.
The David A Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts website won 2015 MarCom award honors for non-profit organization websites. Bayshore Solutions’ redesigned the Straz Center website to bring together combines the three separate Straz web properties into one convenient web destination for the variety of Straz Center audiences.
The Gardner-Gibson website received 2015 MarCom award honors for manufacturer websites. Bayshore Solutions’ designed a clean and easy to navigate website that combines product specifications, documentation and retail access location information for eight product lines of adhesives and sealants.
The redesign of the Columbia Restaurant website earned MarCom honors for a website remodel. This website had not been redesigned in 10 years. The new Columbia Restaurant website enables a responsive experience, online reservations and custom menu review of multiple locations offering different fare and ecommerce shop for new and old aficionados of this 100 year old Florida dining destination.
