The exhibition of The Florida Holocaust Museum, Courage & Compassion– The Legacy of the Bielski Brothers, is a unique multimedia exhibition presented nationally by Bank of America. The exhibit showcases the heroic efforts of three brothers, Tuvia, Zus and Asael Bielski who helped save more than 1,000 Jews during World War II and is the only exhibit exclusively focused on this inspiring story.
The Best in Class award is the highest honor bestowed by the Interactive Media Council. The Courage and Compassion Web site was a winner in the Museum category. Bayshore Solutions has excelled in all areas of the judging criteria and achieved a near perfect overall score. According to the Interactive Awards, the Courage and Compassion Web site represents the highest standards of professionalism, standards compliance and impeccable planning and execution.
The judging consisted of various criteria, including design, usability, innovation in technical features, standards compliance and content. In order to win this award level, the Courage and Compassion site had to meet strict guidelines in each area - an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn each year.
The Web site design and custom web development included Flash elements and a simple navigational structure to inform and enhance the visitor experience. The design incorporates exhibition content including links for survivors, descendants, resources and more.
