As a cooperative, not-for-profit financial institution, GTE FCU does this by giving citizens in its field of membership the opportunity to pool their savings, lend them to one another, & own the financial institution through which they conduct their business. All of this is accomplished by providing financial & educational resources that help members make informed monetary decisions, which are made solely by GTE FCU making its products & services available to members via the Internet, telephone & through convenient branch locations.

Challenge

GTE Federal Credit Union had a live web site, but the content was too unorganized. The site was difficult to navigate and contained all topics of interest on one page. The challenge set to Bayshore Solutions was to create an organized, user-friendly page that would maintain visualization in distinct areas. The pages were designed to only need slight changes to maintain the sleekness of the web site.

Solution

Bayshore Solutions condensed the size of the homepage and categorized information to make GTE Federal Credit Union’s web site more navigable. The new site also featured Bayshore’s Content Manager, which allowed for GTE FCU to modify, update, delete, and manage information in an orderly fashion. By streamlining the pages, Bayshore provided GTE FCU with an undoubtedly user-friendly interface.
