Huber Engineered Materials (HEM) is part of the J.M. Huber Corporation and develops engineered specialty ingredients that enhance the performance, appeal and processing of a broad range of products used in industrial, paper and consumer-based applications.


 

Challenge

Huber Engineered Materials partnered with Bayshore Solutions to develop a custom website designed for ease of use, enhanced functionality and a scalable architecture to allow for growth. The company specifically needed an easier navigation, an updated look, search engine optimization and a way to easily populate ongoing content and products.

Solution

Bayshore Solutions created a new website with a modern layout to provide the website visitors comprehensive information as well as highlight technical data about HEM’s four strategic business units. The user interface of the website improves the ability for customers to quickly get the information they are looking for. The SEO orientation and readiness incorporated in to the build of the site ensure the firm’s ability to deploy and refine online elements that not only drive traffic to the site but improve return on investment.

The website integrates Bayshore Solutions WebModules CMS. This content management system delivers a short learning curve for non-technical users and supports the integration of a variety of content elements including the interactive FLASH-based map of HEM’s manufacturing and product distribution facilities nationwide. In addition, a dynamic product finder feature was integrated allowing users to search the company’s products, brands, markets, and applications.
