Bob Munce formed the Munce Group in 1991, offering a catalog program to 22 stores. Today, the Munce Group is the nation's largest full-service marketing group, serving over 500 U.S. independent retailers. We offer 12-17 direct mail consumer catalogs per year along with a variety of marketing programs and services—from promotional merchandising to an in-store endcap, from business insurance to member tradeshows.

Challenge

The Munce Group, a marketing firm and publishing company that services Independent Christian Retailers was looking for an updated Web site with a fresh design, user login for retailers, full content management and the ability to sell advertising, all within a 41 day turnaround time. Munce purchased floor space at a National Trade Show and wanted to feature the Web site to current and potential retailers. Bayshore Solutions knew that it would be a difficult challenge based on the turnaround time, but understood what the Munce Group was looking for and believed that with our highly trained professional team that a fully custom site in under 41 days was possible.

Solution

Bayshore Solutions design and development teams built a completely custom Web site, with an updated look and feel, and a complete content management system for the entire site. This gave the Munce Group the ability to manage content throughout the site 24/7, create new retailer accounts on the fly and manage banner advertising. The custom and secure area, gives retailers access to view catalogs, download order forms, up-to-date account information, custom alerts, a forum to talk with peers, ability to send e-cards and more.

Results

The new Munce Group Web site was delivered in just 35 days and allowed them to feature the site at the National Trade Show as planned. The updated look & feel and custom secure area were well received by retailers, allowing them easy-to-use navigation to find the resources they need for their stores and custom alerts. Munce can now showcase the advanced features of the Web site to new and potential retailers as well as use it to increase their conversion rate. For current members, this site functions as a great sales tool and adds value to their membership.
