About University Community Hospital http://www.uch.org University Community Health was created to reflect the combined strength and unity that has now been achieved through the union of University Community Hospital and University Community Hospital-Carrollwood in Tampa, Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital in Tarpon Springs and Sun Coast Hospital in Largo. The network offers patients a deep, broad range of quality services while retaining the convenience, friendliness and accessibility of the local hospitals.  By sharing resources, technology and knowledge, UCH is able to respond better to the community’s health care needs.

Challenge

University Community Hospital approached Bayshore Solutions looking to develop four individual sites for each of its hospitals, while maintaining a unified look and feel. Each hospital had relevant information and was still a part of UCH, but had to be able to be accessed individually without losing the branding that symbolized the UCH organization. In addition to the visual aspect of the web site, there also had to be a centralized landing page at which general information could be found.
 

Solution

Bayshore Solutions created several different web sites for University Community Hospital:

www.uch.org (UCH main page), www.universitycommunityhospital.org (UCH), www.helenellis.com (Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital), www.suncoasthealthcare.com (Sun Coast Hospital), and www.uchcarrollwood.com (UCH at Carrollwood). Later, another site was created for the Pepin Heart Institute ( www.pepinheart.org ). Each web site was linked to the main site and is accessible from any branch site of the network. Each of the six web sites was equipped with a content manager system so changes and modifications could be made by individual administrators of the sites. The sites all maintained the same aesthetics, unifying the brand while still emphasizing diversity among the hospitals.
