Business Development Director
The Business Development Director is responsible for leading sales and solution definition activities associated with the acquisition of new clients. In this role you will actively prospect and lead associated business development activities to create revenue opportunities for Bayshore Solutions. This position reports to a Vice President.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated successful history in the execution of selling custom technology and/or marketing solutions which include: website development, website design, web hosting, digital/search marketing, SEM, PPC, SEO, display advertising, social media marketing, content management, e-commerce, CRM, and marketing automation platforms.
You will be responsible for prospect identification/lead generation; which includes outbound prospecting/networking activities through personal meetings, presentations, speaking engagements, business networking, telephone calls, personal emails, personal mailings, business forums, and/or other business or social gatherings in addition to handling of assigned inbound sales inquiries from corporate marketing.
You will qualify your potential opportunities for customer fit and budget to ensure lead and sales conversion goals fall in company guidelines and have a thorough understanding of sales funnel methodology.
You will actively work with your prospects to identify project requirements and potential solutions to create proposals and RFP responses.
You will collaborate with a delivery team in proposal development, proposal review, and proposal presentation.
You will be accountable for maintaining your scorecard benchmarks including monthly leads, pipeline, and sales quota of $750,000 per year.
You will facilitate understanding of customer issues and resolve/escalate accordingly as well as assist accounting in collection efforts.
