USF CAMLS (Center for Advanced Medical Learning & Simulation)

90% Growth in Audience Engagement

USF-CAMLSUniversity of South Florida Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS) is a world-class, one-of-a-kind facility dedicated to simulation-based healthcare education, training, and the development of innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes and reduce preventable medical errors.

The state of the art simulation and training center is housed in an impressive three-story 90,000 square foot facility located in downtown Tampa, Florida, providing ample space for every form of cutting-edge healthcare education and simulation, all under one roof.

USF CAMLS partnered with Bayshore Solutions to design a world-class website with responsive and compelling artistry. The goals of the site are to powerfully show the advanced capabilities of the healthcare center and attract interest, projects and support funding.

Bayshore Solutions created a bold, engaging website with a clean and modern layout infused with custom imagery showing the center’s amenities and the state-of-the-art healthcare training that is housed in the facility. Clear and direct calls to action encourage site visitors to the next steps on the directed path throughout the website.
Interactive features include Flipbook functionality on the Center’s online brochures and a virtual tour which enables visitors to take a tour of the facility from their computer, tablet or mobile device.

Communicating the benefits of utilizing CAMLS for healthcare education programs to their clients had been one of the largest obstacles to overcome. It was important to be able to show the LEED certified facility in detail to visitors before they set foot in the door. The integration of virtual tour functionality is a tremendously helpful tool in bringing CAMLS to the client – allowing them to see for themselves the advantages of using the center for their programs. This fully-responsive virtual 360-degree tour and map provides the nearest experience possible to an in-person view of all three stories at the state of the art medical training center.

90% growth in audience engagement of pages viewed at an average of nearly 3 minutes on site per session was achieved in the first month of the website launch.

The Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS) was in need of a website that could help us communicate the capabilities of the Center to future clients virtually. No small task,” said Paul Ayres, CAMLS Director of Sales, Marketing & Business, “The team at Bayshore Solutions solved this problem through methodically understanding our customer base and then developing a comprehensive website that shares exactly how dynamic CAMLS and our services are.”
