22nd Annual Communicator Website Excellence Awards Are Earned for the Straz Center and J.C. Newman Perla del Mar; Awards of Distinction Are Won for Seven More Customer Websites.
TAMPA, FL, and DENVER, CO, May 2016 – Bayshore Solutions has won nine awards in the 22nd Annual Communicator Awards for digital and website excellence. The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) produces the Communicator Awards to evaluate and honor creative excellence by communications professionals.
2016 Communicator Awards of Excellence, the highest achievement in the competition were earned by the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts and J.C. Newman Cigar Company’s Perla del Mar brand websites. Seven more 22nd Annual Communicator Awards Distinction honors were given to Bayshore Solutions websites for Gardner-Gibson, Morphogenesis, Physicians Leadership Institute, Quality Distribution Inc., System One Services, the Columbia Restaurant, and the University of South Florida’s Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS).
Over 6,000 entries were received from the United States and internationally. The AIVA panel of judges evaluated entries for work that demonstrates effective dedication to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.
“The work entered in the 22nd Annual Communicator Awards serves as a benchmark in gauging the innovative ideas and capabilities of communications and marketing professionals around the world. David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts
David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts won a Communicator Website Award of Excellence for cultural institutions. Bayshore Solutions’ redesigned the Straz Center website on the Kentico CMS that combines three Straz web properties into one convenient web destination for varied performing arts center audiences.
J.C. Newman Cigar Co. – Pela del Mar
J.C. Newman Cigar Company’s Perla del Mar brand site won a Communicator Award of Excellence for lifestyle websites. The Perla del Mar website takes a social approach, highlighting lifestyle cigar smoking experiences for their customer audience of action-oriented cigar aficionados.
The Gardner-Gibson website received a Communicator Award of Distinction in manufacturing websites. Bayshore Solutions’ designed this easy to navigate website with the Sitefinity CMS to organize and present product specifications, documentation, and retail access location information for eight product lines of adhesives and sealants.
Morphogenesis Website won a 2016 Communicator Award of Distinction for biotechnology websites. The website design speaks to a variety of audiences (scientists, students, government, investors, patients and consumers) with broad to complex content in an elegant website experience that presents the applications and benefits of the science.
Physician Leadership Institute
Physician Leadership Institute (PLI) earned a Communicator Award of Distinction for school/university websites
PLI is a thought leadership organization for coaching, mentoring, and catalyzing positive change in the medical industry. The website aligns PLI brand and focuses on a clear directed path and calls to action. An Asian-inspired layout and color palette promotes a simple, harmonious, and relaxed experience.
Quality Distribution, Inc.
The Quality Distribution Inc. (QDI) website won a 2016 Communicator Award of Distinction for transportation websites. QDI is the largest bulk tank truck network in North America with over 125 terminals and more than 3,000 drivers and franchises. The QDI website is built on the Kentico CMS to presents a responsive web experience for its multiple audiences and offer in-depth information on the company’s history, business lines and services.
System One Services
The Columbia Restaurant
System One Services won a Communicator Award of Distinction for employment websites. The website for this parent company of multiple staffing solutions brands cleanly and conveniently addresses specific nationwide audiences of SystemOne’s separate divisions for clinical, scientific, healthcare, legal, engineering, and consulting staffing, all within one web destination.
The Columbia Restaurant’s website redesign won Communicator Award of Distinction honors in restaurant websites. This fully responsive website was redesigned on the Kentico CMS, and replaced a 10-year-old website. The new website enables online reservations and custom menu presentations for multiple restaurant locations, as well as an e-commerce store for this 100-year-old Florida dining destination.
University of South Florida Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation
University of South Florida Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS) won a Communicator Award of Distinction in school/university websites. Bayshore Solutions designed this responsive and interactive website to showcase the advanced capabilities of the center and attract interest and support funding.
